Transport planning

Stefan Sandmeier studied history, musicology, and media & communication studies at the University of Zurich. He finished his studies in 2004 with a Master’s Degree. From 2005 to 2008 he worked on a research project and publications on the history of traffic and transport planning and its institutionalization in Switzerland at the Swiss Federal Institut of Technology (ETH). Since 2005 he wrote articles for the Historical Dictionary of Switzerland. Since 2007 he is PhD Student with Prof. Philipp Sarasin at the University of Zurich. In 2009 he started his work as research assistant with Prof. Monika Dommann at the University of Basel.
